Jim Skea is Professor of Sustainable Energy at Imperial College, a founder member of the UK’s Committee on Climate Change, and Vice-Chair of Working Group III of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

 

“Welsh Government support for Smart Energy”

Ken Skates is the Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Infrastructure. Wales faces a number of key challenges relating to grid infrastructure, but is also pioneering a range of ways in which local energy supply or storage options might mitigate some of the need for infrastructure upgrades.

Ken has been invited to deliver the Political Keynote speech for Smart Energy Wales.
